What types of products are being shown?
Coastal and resort retailers from Maine to Virginia Beach will find hundreds of lines featuring every product category including resort, gifts, souvenirs, novelties, nautical/coastal items, licensed products, beachwear, general gift and much more!

What special events will take place?
There will be no special events at this year's show due to COVID-19.

Where can I rent a scooter?
Scooters may be rented from Barb's Buggy at 866-442-8449 or IT Mobility at 800-576-4323.

Will food be available during the show?
Yes, concessions are available on-site. Concession hours are as followed: 

  • Monday - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday - 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM 
*Note concession closing times are subject to change.

How can I receive a directory?
Printed show directories are provided to registered buyers on-site at the event. A digital version is also available here.

Registration FAQs


How do I register?

Click here to register. It is recommended you register online before the show so you can receive updates and important news about the show and save time on-site.

What is the registration deadline?
While there is no deadline to register, you are encouraged to pre-register ahead of time to reduce lines and wait-times at the show.

What are the On-Site Buyer Registration and Badge Pick-Up Hours?

  • Monday - Tuesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

What are the Qualifications to Attend?
The Ocean City Resort Gift Expo is open to the trade only. To maintain the professional environment of the show, children under the age of 14 years and strollers are strongly discouraged.

New /first-time attendees should be prepared to present the following along with your express badge to gain admission to the show: 1 form of personal ID and 2 forms of business ID, which can include copy of business license, sales tax id number, payroll stub, company check, company credit card, vendor invoice, business card, letterhead or other printed collateral with company name. (Please note: 1 form of personal ID and 1 form of business ID is required for each additional employee.)
The photography of any exhibit is expressly prohibited without the written consent of the exhibitor.

 

What is the Cost to Attend?
The Ocean City Resort Gift Expo is open to the trade only. Admission is free to qualified retailers.
 

Do you Mail the Badges?
Badges are not mailed. Pre-registrations will receive a confirmation letter with their barcode via email. Simply bring it to the show, scan it with our onsite readers and print out your badge quickly and easily!

How Can I Book my Hotel?
Our official housing partner, Connections, works to negotiate travel discounts and reduced-rate hotel rooms to make your trip affordable. For hotel information, click here.

BUYER BEWARE!  Connections Housing is the only approved, official housing vendor for the Ocean City Gift Show. We understand that unauthorized housing companies may be contacting you advertising cheaper rates and may imply or claim an affiliation with the show or Urban Expositions. Unfortunately, some past attendees and exhibitors have fallen prey to these companies and they have either: lost significant deposits, been relocated with little or no warning, have not had the guest rooms they thought they had booked, or have not received reservations at the hotel they had thought were confirmed. So be sure to book your room through Connections Housing!

How can I exhibit at the Ocean City Resort Gift Expo?

What is included in my booth package?
8’ side and back drapes, one undraped table, chairs, one wastebasket and one outlet per booth with 500 watts of electricity. The ballroom is carpeted exhibit space.

What opportunities are available for promoting my company?

How do I register my booth personnel?
Exhibitor registration can be accessed in the exhibitor login portal. Click “Exhibitor Registration” which will lead you to your registration dashboard. To get started, click “add booth staff”

Is insurance required? 
Yes. requirement of exhibiting at Ocean City Resort Gift Show 2021 is for ALL exhibitors to carry liability insurance throughout the Exhibition. The deadline for submitting the Certificate indicating adequate insurance coverage is October 1, 2021. Even if Exhibitor hires an EAC, Exhibitor still must supply its own Certificate of Liability Insurance. ALL EAC’s must submit an application form with a certificate of insurance prior to deadline to be approved by show management. Exhibitor's insurance carrier must issue such Certificate of Liability Insurance. A sample insurance form can be found in the exhibitor manual.
 
To ensure that the Certificate of Liability Insurance has the correct information required, please make sure your certificate includes the following information.

Free basic wifi will be available in the common areas at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.

What are the booth guidelines? 
The booth guidelines for the Ocean city Resort Gift Show event will be enforced. Please assure that your booth is within the guidelines. You can find the booth guidelines here.

All materials should be shipped directly to the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.
